Avalon Salon has opened its fourth location in Victory Park, on a balcony inside LFT. This urban, state-of-the-art salon boasts a “color bar” (hang with the colorists as they mix your hue), gel headrests inside each shampoo bowl (no more straining to keep your head up), leather lounge chairs at every station, and a flat-screen TV running fashion videos. The funky industrial architecture is offset by the tranquil blue glow of the shampoo area, the chandeliered color space, and the open, airy main room.
