New Review: Zoe’s Kitchen

On the menu are better-for-you dishes, prepared on-site using fresh ingredients.

We like to pop into Zoe’s Kitchen for a quick meal that won’t land on our thighs. On the menu are better-for-you dishes, prepared on-site using fresh ingredients. Some are less than 400 calories and 10 grams of fat (Greek chicken pita), others stick to the Zone’s 40 percent carb/30 percent protein/30 percent fat requirement (chicken quesadilla), and a few adhere to the American Heart Association standards for a heart-healthy diet (chicken and slaw pita). Good news: a new location in Snider Plaza makes it twice as easy to eat right. 5710 W. Lovers Ln., Ste. 108. 214-357-0100. www.zoeskitchen.com.
