Representative Michael Burgess from Lewisville, along with Eddie Bernice Johnson and Pete Sessions from Dallas, met with the editorial board of the Dallas Morning News earlier this week and promised to make sure a giant wall of water doesn't flood downtown. Tornado Damage Estimated at 1.2 Billion Dollars. Early estimates from insurance companies say claims from the horrific storms could total more than $1.2 billion. In some places there is utter devastation and ruin. Senator Ted Cruz is expected to visit later today.
