Late last month, the region’s top CFOs and other industry leaders gathered at On the Levee to celebrate those being recognized in D CEO’s Financial Executive Awards 2022, held in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth, Financial Executives International, and TXCPA Dallas.
Networking and dinner were followed by a special awards presentation with a welcome from Gillea Allison, president of D Magazine Partners. Finalists and winners were recognized in 12 categories by Christine Perez, editor of D CEO, who was assisted by Dennis Wright, president of UMB Bank, and Sara Grenier, partner at BKD.
Winners included Willie Hornberger of Jackson Walker (Outstanding Public Service) and Tammy Romo of Southwest Airlines (Outstanding CFO, Large Public Company). The highest honor of the evening went to Tom Walker, CFO of the Dallas Cowboys, who was presented with the Constantine “Connie” Konstans Excellence in Corporate Governance Award.
