On Wednesday, March 2, D Magazine celebrated some of Dallas’ top doctors and lawyers in its first-ever D Best Hall of Fame, which appeared in the March issue. More than 100 guests gathered at DEC on Dragon for an exclusive celebration. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with welcoming remarks from executive editor Kathy Wise.
D Magazine began its “Best” lists in 2001, and, for at least 15 of the past 20 years, these medical and legal professionals have been providing D readers with some of the most trusted care and counsel in North Texas. Singer-songwriter and D Best lawyer Randy Johnston performed an original song about his experience being named a member of the Hall of Fame.
Guests moved upstairs to the rooftop for an elegant dinner with the Dallas skyline as the backdrop. Christine Allison, D Magazine Partners’ editor-in-chief and CEO, spoke to the honorees. “To be sure, being voted a Best is a high honor,” she said. “But some of the best doctors and lawyers in our region have been deemed so every year since our program’s inception. I am grateful for their leadership roles in making Dallas an even better place to live.”
