No ticket, no problem.

There are plenty of places to celebrate the much-anticipated Red River Rivalry without going to Fair Park.

The Back 9

Opens at 11 a.m.

Experience the game of the year in surround sound on 25 flat screen TVs. The bar’s pizza oven is back in commission, meaning half-price pizzas during the game. All day, Coors Light will be $3.50, and Coors Light buckets will be $18.

Christies Sport Bar

Opens at 8:30 a.m.

Christies will be getting an early start on game day with specials on individual, tower, and bucket beers. In the past, Christies has also broadcast the game in the garage. But this year, all viewing will be done inside. With the bar’s many offerings, we’re sure you’ll find several reasons to stay inside.

Dallas Beer Kitchen

Opens at 11 a.m.

You’ll get a themed pint glass that is as artsy as the beer is crafty. All day long, Dallas Blonde will be $3 and Dreamcrusher will be $4. Hearty menu offerings are perfect game fare for the entire day, and—depending on the outcome—you can treat or console yourself with Southern-inspired dishes and a flight of Deep Ellum Brewing Company beers.

Dick’s Last Resort

Opens at 11 a.m.

In honor of game weekend, the bar will have an extended happy hour. Giant Jenga, water pong, corn hole, and more will provide entertainment whether your team wins or not.

The Granada's watch party.
The Granada’s Texas-OU watch party will start at 10 a.m.

Granada Theater

Opens at 10 a.m. Purchase tickets here.

The Granada knows a thing or two about tradition, as this is the Greenville Avenue theater’s 10th year to host a watch party for this game. A $15 ticket gets you a fajita plate and a seat in front of three huge screens with concert-quality sound. (Note: this event is 18 and up.)

The Nodding Donkey

Opens at 8 a.m.

If you find yourself wide awake with anticipation, get there early for breakfast tacos. Once the game starts, a special shootout menu—serving up homemade jalapeño skins, a Texas Cobb, brisket grilled cheese, and more—will pair wonderfully with the game and brews.

The Quarter Bar

Opens at 11 a.m.

Whether you bleed burnt orange or maroon-red, you can get $2 Jell-o shots and $4 booze pops in your team’s color on Friday and Saturday. A live deejay will be on site both evenings, and on Saturday, guests can order off the Breadwinners brunch menu until 4 p.m. We recommend getting a reservation as seating is limited.

The Rustic

Opens at 10 a.m.

RSVP or purchase a VIP ticket here.

The Rustic starts the Red River Rivalry celebrations off right with Friday night’s FRC Live Music Showcase. Twelve bands will hit the stage, with Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears at the top. A festival-style menu will provide the perfect accompaniment. Get to The Rustic an hour before kickoff the next day and tune into any of 10 TVs that will be broadcasting the monumental clash.

The Social House – Uptown

Opens at 10:30 a.m.

Enjoy brunch—and drink specials—while you watch the game.

World of Beer (Ft. Worth)

Opens at 10 a.m.

Four favorites from the brunch menu—pancakes, waffles, chicken waffle sandwiches, and BEERunch burgers with fried eggs—will be available, alongside Longhorn drink specials. Bring your furry friends and watch the game on the patio.
