Hot Property: A Modern Gem by Lake Lewisville

This four-bedroom home was built in 2014, but it boasts a few vintage-inspired features. (Conversation pit, anyone?) Plus, its backyard is perfect for entertaining.

Today, readers, we’re taking a trip up Interstate 35 to Corinth to admire a four-bedroom beauty: 3706 Post Oak Trail. This property is tucked inside Bluffs at Pinnell Pointe, a 52-acre waterfront development by Lake Lewisville. Each custom home in the Bluffs is bigger than the last, and 3706 Post Oak Trail sits on nearly three-fourths of an acre of land.

A xeriscaped lawn welcomes visitors as they ascend toward the glass front doors. Inside, the 5,400-square-foot home feels especially sprawling because it’s just one story.

The first thing you’ll see is a fabulously retro architectural element: a ’60s-style conversation pit. The sunken space is centered in the middle of the main living area and offers a generous view of the backyard.

The oversized kitchen and living room are next on the tour; the latter features an electric fireplace built into a pretty stone accent wall.

In addition to four bedrooms, the home has a study, a flex room perfect for gym equipment, a laundry room with abundant storage, and a garage with a car charger already installed.

Outside, you’ll find a multi-level pool with cascading water features. It’s the ideal setup for entertaining: there’s a cabana, a full kitchen, and an outdoor shower. Avid gardeners will also appreciate the planters nestled to the side of the backyard.

Though this home isn’t technically a waterfront property, the shores of the lake are right down the street.
