Belmont Avenue stretches across East Dallas through ever-growing neighborhoods like Lakewood and Vickery Place. It’s lined with historical homes, remodels, and new builds alike, and while almost all are small in square footage, they’re big in personality. Passersby slow down to admire the Craftsman and Tudor homes, some with tricycles parked on their lawns, others with storied trees winding their roots through the sidewalks.
Today, we’re stepping inside one of the newest homes on the street, 6330 Belmont. The contemporary build was completed just last year, but it doesn’t feel out of place in an area known for being eclectic. The neighboring houses run the gamut, from tiny brick builds with cozy front porches to cheery bungalows with colorful trim.
The exterior of 6330 Belmont is modern and understated. Black paneling is paired with narrow vertical windows, while a row of freshly planted trees offers a bit of privacy.

There is no patterned wallpaper–each room is painted a cool, serene white. No statement chandeliers–there’s plenty of light from the sun that flows through the many windows. And with its 12-foot ceilings, the main living space feels airy and polished, though some traditional features (like a mantel) have been omitted.
