Welcome back to Laps of Luxury, a weekly series highlighting the prettiest pools in North Texas.

September has arrived, but Texas temps are still toasty. That’s why 3932 Touraine Drive was a natural choice for this week’s feature. In addition to a killer pool, this home has an enviable lakefront location, and a cool waterfront breeze has never sounded more appealing.

This fresh build was designed by Ventura Custom Homes and is located in The Lakes on Legacy Drive, a gated community in Frisco. Though it’s just a few minutes away from the bustling Legacy West shopping district, the neighborhood feels tucked away and tranquil. Its residents have access to a clubhouse, a private dock, a jogging path, and tennis courts.

3932 Touraine Drive sits on roughly a third of an acre of land; the five-bedroom estate clocks in at nearly 7,000 square feet. The exterior is modern, with a mix of arched and square windows, white walls with slate gray details, and minimalist landscaping. The interior palette is a chic mix of black, white, gold, and chrome, with hints of Carrara marble and light wood.

With lake views like these, the backyard of the home stands right up against the interior. A fence and a thin stretch of grass are all that separates the glassy surfaces of the lake and the pool. The latter is accented with bright green turf and softly streaming fountains, while sparkling blue tiles emphasize its edges. The water is heated for year-round use, while an attached spa is ideal for especially chilly winter nights. There is an outdoor kitchen and multiple sets of French doors offer a seamless flow between indoor to outdoor living.
