Brightwell got his start in advertising (he spent 30 years as a creative executive in London, New York, and Houston), but decided to move to Dallas in 2017 to share his passion for collecting. Shoppers can make appointments to visit his Fair Park loft to discover a treasure trove of  out-of-production, contemporary design objects, and vintage ceramics, as well as rare fashion, art, and design books.

Maestri Studio

Maestri’s boutique design firm in Exposition Park (which expanded to encompass an art gallery last summer) is known for its scrupulous detail in full-service architecture and interior design.
