Light and airy is often the name of the game in Dallas new builds, but this 2015 home, constructed by Rosewood Custom Builders and designed by SHM Architects, boldly embraces the dark side. Brick walls are painted jet black (creating perfect gothic backdrops for the home’s many glittery chandeliers), kitchen cabinets sport a rich, dark green color (a look that’s trending!), and the exotic marble island of the utterly massive walk-in closet is a brilliant blend of light and dark hues.

All the slick darkness and cool industrial accents are highlighted beautifully by the natural light that floods the home from all angles. Situated on a prime, lakeside lot at the end of one of the few cul-da-sacs in Lakewood, the floor-to-ceiling window-filled home capitalizes on its scenic surroundings with several outdoor living areas, including a very well-manicured covered patio.

If we’re all okay with calling houses sexy, I’m just going to go ahead and say it. This is a sexy, sexy house. Just look at this video, appropriately filmed at night (the sexiest time!), with its swanky spa background music. Of course it fades out on the image of a crackling fire pit, because this house is straight fire.
