If you’re one of the many who has fallen for Blue Print, the high-end furniture emporium along the shady streets of Uptown’s Fairmount District, chances are that the artwork had a little something to do with it. The five friends and designers behind the store have a knack for finding the perfect contemporary piece to complement the classic, well-appointed vignettes throughout the home. And though the store regularly hosts shows for the artists it represents, fans of Blue Print’s taste will have even more to love about the store come April, when its second, art-focused location opens its doors.
Situated in a historic home next door, Blue Print Gallery sports the same, infamous blue doors as its sister store, with several viewing rooms that will house over 50 artists from around the world. Expect abstract paintings, fine art photography, and sculptures from emerging and established contemporary authors.
