If You Like Tim Headington’s Work on Main Street, This is Your Dream Gift Box

Dallas isn’t lacking in thoughtfully curated gift box options. Right now, you could pop over to Set & Co. in Oak Cliff and have them whip up a gorgeous wooden box filled with pantry goods and bath essentials for a post-holiday pampering sesh. Or you could gift your tiniest friends (and their moms) with local treats and sartorial-minded swaddles (seriously) from Buttermilk Babies. Here are five Dallas-based options you can purchase online right now.

This is all to say that it takes a lot for us to get truly hyped about a gift box these days, but then this curated option by the editors of The Joule’s bi-monthly publication 1530 Main came along and — bear with me as I attempt to use this phrase — it was so extra. But like, the good kind of extra. A Drake-wearing-a-massive-turtleneck level of extra. You get it.

Basically, you email [email protected], and they’ll collaborate with the shopper (and work with a wide range of requests and price ranges) to source gifts from spots such as newly opened Commissary, TASCHEN Library, Weekend Coffee, the Spa at the Joule, and more Tim Headington-approved downtown favorites.

Or, you could score the most extra of the extra by entering a giveaway for a 1530 Main-curated box retailed at over $800. There’s a Commes des Garçons wallet in there from Traffic LA, a Boy Smells Cedar Stack Candle (our favorite Boy Smell) from TenOverSix, a gift card and rosé from Commissary and more. There’s a social media heavy process for entering that can get complicated, so I’ll just direct you here for those details.

Happy gifting! Stay extra.
