Hot Property: Remodeled 1920s Craftsman in Highland Park

Is this the real estate equivalent of a warm hug?

Some “hot” properties don’t need much. They don’t require a storied past, a multi-level closet, or jaw dropping square footage. Some homes just make you happy, and in the infamous words of Paris Hilton, “That’s hot.”

One such example: 3504 Harvard Avenue. The beautifully remodeled and expanded 1920s Craftsman could warm any Dallasite’s heart, particularly with its close proximity to the Katy Trail or Knox Street. Although it’s not without its own notable perks. There’s a hidden wine closet, a reading loft that looks just as charming as it sounds, and a glorious white and dark wood-filled kitchen with one of the cooler light fixtures we’ve ever laid eyes on.

There’s also a pretty spectacular outdoor deck constructed around a towering pecan tree with twinkly lights, a gas fire pit, and a built-in gas grill area. For reference, it looks like the kind of place Gwyneth Paltrow might scout for an outdoor-themed Goop photoshoot and say, “Yeah, this will do.”

We feel you, GP.
