While it could have been easy to feel helpless this many miles from the danger, North Texans have been among the many working hard to find ways to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey, including these amazing small businesses.

The following local shops are collecting donations and helping raise money for evacuees and victims. We will keep adding to this list throughout the week, but please feel free to leave any suggestions in the comments, or email [email protected].

Sending thoughts and prayers for our neighbors in Houston and the surrounding areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. 🙏🏼 We’re so proud of our home state and everyone who is doing what they can to help and show love to people in need. We’ll be dropping off a donation to the Dallas Convention Center this week, which is now host to 5,000 evacuees. In addition, 100% of the proceeds from our 'God I Don't Get This' card and 8×10 art print will go to the Red Cross through September 30th. Both are available in-store and online via the link in our profile. Another way you can help is to text HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation to the @americanredcross. 💛 #DTX4HTX #texasstrong #prayfortexas

  • Donating 100% of the proceeds from sales of STAG’s Texas and Houston tees to local recovery efforts.
  • Using STAG’s Houston store in River Oaks as a drop-off point for donations of food, water and clothing.
