If you’re not familiar with Cantoni, let’s get you up to speed. Founded by Michael Wilkov in 1984, the contemporary furnishings company opened their first storefront in a North Texas strip mall. Today, Cantoni is a prominent source for modern furniture across the country, with showrooms in Los Angeles, Houston, and Atlanta, though the brand is still very much rooted in Dallas.

In fact, the brand is so Dallas-oriented, that Wilkov and Cantoni’s Dallas design team created a home in Preston Hollow in 2009 to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary, and it’s just as cool and contemporary as you might imagine. It also just hit the market.

Dubbed the “Axis” house, the 7,771-sqare-foot home was meticulously laid out to create various courtyards within the oversized lot, and offer a view of the incredible pool, the well-manicured lawn, or an interesting sculpture from every corner and practically every window.

Of course, all finishes are pristine and appliances are state-of-the-art. Other highlights include an incredible upstairs media/entertaining space adjoining a porch with views of the aforementioned pool (which also appears to be equipped for some outdoor screenings), while the kitchen and its 22-foot island will surely serve as the focal point for any gathering.

As a whole, the space is stunning, creating a perfect showcase for artwork and the kind of striking, contemporary furnishings its creator is known for. If you end up living here, please invite us for a pool/hot tub movie night. We’ll bring some wine for your massive wet bar.
