If Blue Print has an Austin-based soul sister, it would surely be James. Founded in 2015 by interior designer Meredith Ellis, the home furnishings store settled in a charming 1930s bungalow (not dissimilar to Blue Print’s ’20s-era Uptown cottage) in Austin’s growing Design District. Stocked with soft, pretty fabrics, lighting, furniture, and vibrant wallpaper, James carries over 26 high-end designer lines to outfit a southern home (available to both trade and retail clients), and this summer, they’re bringing them to Dallas.

“We’re excited to bring James and our incredible roster of vendors to Dallas!  As we have so many designers and friends we work with in [Dallas-Fort Worth], it just seemed like a natural next step for our brand,” shared Meredith Ellis in a press release.

James’ second showroom will open on July 27 in the Dallas Design District, occupying 1,100 square feet in Codarus’ new 14,000-square-foot showroom in the Design Center.
