From macaron-filled markets to witnessing 90,000 pumpkins, our inboxes are jam-packed with exciting September home- and design-related events. Here, we’ll share a few you’ll want to plug into your calendar.

 

1. Shop an Open House // Sept. 10, 1-4pm

What’s better than touring the chicly styled interior of an open house in Dallas? Taking home that super cool, vintage console displayed in its living room. Stop by 2928 Larkspur Lane this Saturday afternoon to shop a home staged by Flea Style favorite MM Vintage.

2. Art Show at Blue Print // Sept. 15, 5-7pm

Head to Uptown’s charming Blue Print store for an evening of swoon-worthy modern artwork by  Arienne Lepretre, EMYO, Jill Lear, and Charlotte Seifert. And cocktails. There are always cocktails.

3. “Local” Market at Highland Park Village // Sept. 17, 8-11:30am

Nestled between Céline and Balenciaga, “Local” will undoubtedly be the poshest open-air market in Dallas. Snag a Royal Blue breakfast taco and enjoy live music and face painting while you shop for farm-sourced produce, artisan goods from vendors such as Bisous Bisous or Tribal Juice, and grab-and-go bouquets from Avant Garden during the the inaugural, third Saturday market.

 

4. Autumn at the Arboretum // Begins Sept. 17

When more than 90,000 pumpkins make their way to one of the the world’s most magnificent gardens, you should probably pay them a visit. The Dallas Arboretum’s annual fall festival kicks off this month, and features several, must-hit events, including Harvest Tea, a celebration of Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday, and the Cool Thursdays Concert Series.

5. SMU Family Weekend at Highland Park Village // Sept. 23-25

Give mom and dad a taste of Dallas shopping during SMU family Weekend, and score discounts at Shinola, Blue Mercury, Madison, TTH, and Draper James while you’re at it. 6. The Scout Soirée // Sept. 29, 5-8pm

Stop by the hippest vintage store in Dallas for a night of shopping, cocktails, food trucks, and fortune tellers benefitting Dwell with Dignity. Artists Hayley Mitchell and Lindsey Meyer will be in attendance, along with fantastic Dallas brands and swag bags for the first 20 attendees.
