Hot Property: A Mid-Century Modern Gem in The Disney Streets

In a cozy little corner of Dallas’ Northaven Park, you’ll find a collection of nostalgia inducing avenues dubbed The Disney Streets. Named after cherished characters and locales, streets such as Cinderella Lane, Aladdin Drive, and Wonderland Trail are lined with beautifully preserved Mid-Century Modern dwellings and traditional Ranch homes. Among them, 11016 Pinocchio Drive is up for grabs, and if the pink Cadillac out front isn’t enough to pique your interest, a colorful interior designed by Gordon Nichols should do the trick.

A sign hanging in the home’s vintage, pink appliance-filled kitchen perfectly sums up its look: “Lost in the 50s.” Make no mistake, though; the home is perfectly appropriate for 2016 living. Especially when that living is being done by someone who prefers their lamps in bubble form, and digs Formica countertops. This person might also appreciate the fact that all their major living areas come with gorgeous views of a Palm Springs-worthy pool. Perhaps they’d even wish upon a star for such a home. (Sorry.)
