From Thrift Studio’s return to something called a Kwestival, our inboxes are full with exciting April home- and design-related events. Here, we’ll share a few you’ll want to plug into your calendar.

Thrift Studio // April 7 – May 7

If you can’t tell from the myriad of posts we’ve recently dedicated to this subject, Dwell with Dignity’s Thrift Studio is returning next Thursday, and we’re pretty excited about it. Take a sneak peek of the striking and deeply discounted designer vignettes for a cause here, or browse a few of our favorite Dwell with Dignity home projects right here. Or both! Nobody’s going to stop you.

Jeremy Scott Book Signing at Forty Five Ten // April 7

You know Jeremy Scott. He’s Katy Perry’s bestie. He designs really expensive dresses that look like Coke cans. Mindy Kaling seems to be exclusively using his giant phone covers. He’s the creative director at Moschino, and he’s written a book that he’d like to sign for you at Forty Five Ten from 3-5pm next Thursday. We suggest you go.

She, In The Making’s Lettering Workshop at Akola Project // April 10

Okay, this sounds like the loveliest of Sunday afternoons. You’ll get to spend the day in The Akola Project’s beautiful Deep Ellum space, where the talented Kelsey from She, In The Making will help show you the basics of lettering and help you digitize your work. Everything a person could need will be provided along with tasty sips and treats. Lovely!

‘Age of the Supermodel’ Exhibition // April 15 -17

Take a break from keeping up with Kendall Jenner’s Snapchat to catch a rare glimpse of British Vogue photographer Donna DeMari’s previously unseen photographs of Linda Evangalista, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, and other big names that forever changed the game for supermodels. The exhibit will be open from noon to 6pm at 750 N. St. Paul Street. Now if only Naomi Campbell would get a Snapchat…

Spring in the Cliff // April 23

If you’re going to attend a block party this month, we’d suggest doing so at the coolest block in Dallas, which many could successfully argue is the corner of Tyler and Davis. From noon to 8pm, attendees can shop sidewalk sales and pop-ups, enjoy music, food, and lots of kid-friendly activities, including a movie at sundown. Click here to stay in the loop!

Kwestival // April 23

What is a Kwestival? Apparently, it’s something that happens when two Dallas-based companies team up (the Kwest app and event company Three Twelve Co.) to put on a mammoth, one-day pop-up that includes numerous local businesses, influencers, artists, and neighborhoods. Basically, it’s one big Dallas love fest, and we’re always going to be on board with that. Click here to stay in the know!

Honorable Mention: All the Home Tours

There is far too much going on with home tours this month to properly cover in this post, but stay tuned to D Home for upcoming sneak peeks and giveaways from some of our favorite annual events.
