Some coffee table books are informative, containing pages filled with detailed research on the subject at hand. Some coffee table books are simply meant to sit there and look pretty or, at the very least, bizarre enough to get a conversation going. Taschen Library, the über cool library-cum-boutique on the first floor of The Joule hotel, marries both of those functions with its (dare I say it?) sexy collection of coffee table books.
