???? While the W Hotel Dallas self-describes as “bigger and bolder” not every corner of the luxurious hotel at Victory Plaza reflect this motto. In fact, a quick elevator ride up from the glitzy lobby can lead you to spaces that are seriously serene.
The newest penthouse suite at the W, a creation of Platinum Series by Mark Molthan, is one of those spaces. With a neutral color pallet, light wood floors, and ample use of natural light, the new suite is a perfect oasis amid the excitement of Victory Plaza.
Mark Molthan of Platinum Series and interior designer, Ohara Davies-Gaetano opted for a look that was modern and minimal. But the space is far from cold or stark, thanks to a delightful collection of weathered and antique accents used strategically throughout the suite. Distressed leather, white marble, and hand carved wood are all hallmarks of the space, but the suite’s real focus is the Dallas skyline.
“We wanted to make the most of Dallas’ beautiful cityscape, so we made sure not to clutter the view or detract from it at all,” explains Mark. “The goal for this suite was to create a retreat that was as sophisticated and as full of surprises as the city of Dallas itself.”
The space is the latest of several suites at the W Hotel Dallas created by Platinum Series. While each suite has a distinct look and feel, all of them make ample use of contemporary design, clean lines, and – of course – the beautiful Dallas skyline.
