The Five Prettiest Monograms at The Loveliest

Embroider your world.

Sisters Britni and Kelsey Wood and their mother, Joni could be considered master monogrammers. The stylish women behind Uptown’s new home and embroidery shop, The Loveliest, have combined their creative backgrounds (Britni was as a style editor for Martha Stewart Weddings and Kelsey worked on events for presidential campaigns in D.C.) to back up the bold claim of their store’s moniker, providing some seriously sweet style for Dallas home and gift shoppers along the way.

Inspired by their favorite embroidery shop, Jan de Luz in Carmel, California, the Woods have on hand more than 40 monogram designs (though Britni can hand draw customs), 120 colors of thread, and an in-house embroidery machine that allows them to churn out gorgeous monograms practically on the spot. Since opening shop in May, the Woods have shared a bevy of beautiful embroideries on Facebook and Instagram. It was no easy task, but we narrowed the field of loveliness to our top five favorite monograms. Peruse at your own risk, D Homies. You will be grabbing the nearest monogram-able object and heading to the Uptown shop when you’ve finished this slideshow.
