Just call these shops wrap stars. (Sorry.)

Things that don’t make your Christmas season so merry and bright: paper cuts, bows that just won’t curl properly, and finding glitter in July from that silly wrapping paper you used to adorn gifts under your holiday tree. What will make it much brighter and much, much more merry: dropping off your oodles of gifts, having them all perfectly wrapped, then picking them up. We’ve rounded up four local companies that offer wrapping services—your greatest stress will be which paper to pick.

  1. St. Michael’s Woman’s Exchange. This Highland Park Village shop is known for their perfectly accessorized gifts, but if you’re going to get something wrapped there before December 25, better hurry because there can be a waiting list.
  2. It’s a Wrap!. The designers at It’s a Wrap! will decorate your packages with everything from classic bows to fresh holly berries.
  3. Calligraphic Arts. While it’s probably too late to take one of the shop’s wrapping classes, you can still drop off your gifts to have them done up all pretty. And maybe pretend like you did it yourself.
  4. Wrapping Chic. Caren Kennedy turned her hobby for friends into a holiday-centric business. Contact her via her website for more information.
