It's time to polish the silver and press the table linens, y'all.

Last night, inspiration for our holiday table décor struck thanks to local designers, florists, and store owners at Kappa Tablescapes. More than 50 perfectly accessorized tables filled the Dallas Country Club, where KKGs and avid shoppers alike browsed (with wine in hand). While all of the tables were beautifully designed, there were a few trends that really stuck in our minds. See the round up, plus some of the amazing tables, below.

Macarons

Jean Liu Designs and Pomp Party stages a children’s party I’d like to attend.

These sweet treats are everywhere (and you won’t find us complaining about it). This table, put together by Jean Liu Designs and Pomp Party, was a children’s birthday party with the most exciting guests—Disney princesses! We’re sure Elsa, Snow White, Ariel, and the like enjoyed their French cookies. Macarons were also spotted on the table of downtown confectioner the Hospitality Sweet.

Golden Gals

Neiman Marcus and Veritas pay homage to Versace at their table.

Nothing says the holidays more than a glitz and glitter. We especially loved Neiman Marcus‘ clear glass Versace chasers, which paired perfectly with the glass-and-gold-stemware. Designer plates? We’re in. Lots of gold sparkle (plus Chanel cookies!) was also spotted on the table designed by EJ Interiors and Scout Design Studio.

Boy meets Girl

Table designed by Hope Hill Design.

Who knew hunting-themed plates could be so chic! This table by Hope Hill Design combines the masculine plates and flatware with more lady-like chargers, and of course, monograms. A similar style (and plates!) were featured on 21 Parc Floral and Events‘ table.
