Have you taken a tour of the Design District recently? If not, it’s time for you to drive on over (it’s not far, we promise!) and check out all that it has to offer. Besides some amazing places to eat and drink like Oak, FT33, and Ascension Coffee, there are lots of home and design stores that are open for retail shopping. Yes, you read that right—it’s a common misconception that the Design District is only open to the trade.

But if you’re feeling a little bit lazy today (that’s okay, we all do every once in a while), we put together a list of Design District-dweller Heather Wiese Alexander‘s favorite places in the ‘hood. If you’d like to see it in print, pick up the July issue of D Magazine. If not, click here.
