Avalon
6828 Avalon is featured on the Lakewood Home Tour this year.

The festival is on November 8-10, and we’ve got your tickets covered. (If you win, of course.) Six homes will be on the tour and this year’s lot features a Spanish-influenced home, a classic English tudor, and an Italian villa. The tour benefits the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA. For those of you interested in the entire weekend’s events, here’s a breakdown:

Candlelight tour on Friday, November 8, 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: View the six homes before the masses. You’ll get the first glimpse.

Home Tour on Saturday, November 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Map your route with homes on Bob O’Link, Avalon, and Greentree. The mixed group of architecture and styles has something for everyone.

Market Cafe: Behind Lakewood Elementary School, a group of food trucks such as Easy Sliders and Jack’s Chowhound will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The market features local wares such as Christmas decor/gifts, jewelry, clothing and accessories, ceramics, and more. Shop ’til you drop.

For tickets to the event, see the website.

One lucky winner will receive a pair of tickets to the tour. We’ll add your name to the will call at Lakewood Elementary and you can pick up your tickets there. Easy. All you have to do is comment on this post before 5 p.m. this Friday, October 18, and we’ll draw a random winner. Good luck!
