I’ve gathered four outdoor entertaining essentials that every hostess should have in his or her al fresco repertoire. That being: a great ice bucket to keep the drink offerings cold, a refreshing mixer that can be served alcoholic or non; a festive melamine plate for serving appetizers, dips, or a meal; and outdoor-friendly (meaning, they won’t break and they’re machine washable!) glasses that are pretty and useful. Here’s where to get it:

Outdoor metal ice bucket ($22) from West Elm; baroque acrylic drinkware ($80-$125) from Neiman Marcus; Tavira melamine plate ($5.95) at Crate & Barrel.
