Here’s one for the Antiques Roadshow fans. On Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., bring your china, art, antiques, collectibles, textiles, and more to the Alexander Mansion for Antiques at the Alexander. Put on by the Dallas Woman’s Forum, the event will bring together a bevy of Dallas-area appraisal experts to help you determine the worth of those family heirlooms that have been passed down throughout the generations. Appraisals are $20 for one item or $50 for three items. You can also attend a series of lectures for $10 each. Topics include “Taking Care of Your Antiques,” “What’s It Worth? How Appraisers Determine Value,” and more. Complimentary Champagne and light bites help sweeten the deal. Call 214-823-4533 for tickets, or purchase at the door.
