What I’m Reading Now: The Comfortable Home by Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams

Not sure if it’s boredom or that the bazillionth consecutive day of triple-digit temperatures has fried my brain, but I’ve embarked on a massive home redecorating journey. Not massive because my place is big, but massive because I’ve decided to get rid of everything and start from scratch. It’s gotta be the heat. In any case, one of the books that has been guiding my project is The Comfortable Home: How To Invest in Your Nest and Live Well for Less by Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams, the duo behind the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams furniture stores. The guys cover everything from entryways to bedrooms to living rooms, but I’m especially interested in their advice on how to work with small spaces. If you need a little design inspiration of your own and feel like curling up with a good old-fashioned hardback book, you can buy The Comfortable Home right here.
