Back in the day, when our offices were on Oak Lawn, there was this great store right downstairs from us where we could pick up nifty products, touch opulent linens, bask in plush robes, frolic on beautifully made-up beds (not really) all from locally owned Peacock Alley. That was then—they moved, we moved. At last, we’re back together again. Well, at least closer. They have just opened the Peacock Alley Design Studio on Slocum Street in the Design District. Look at these perfectly arranged shelves and imagine completely redoing your bedroom: you pick your sheets, decide on how soft you want your pillows, choose a beautiful duvet or coverlet, and then add color and shine with throw pillows and throws. What a treat your new retreat will be!
