A really big piece of the Dallas design scene has been missing for a while. Not big literally, because Mikyung Chun stands about 5 feet tall with 5-inch platform shoes, but her influence and presence are huge. We are all in for a treat when her new showroom Minolochi lights up Slocum Street with her signature style of ultra-sophisticated Continental chic featuring lines like Prememoria, Driade/Philippe Starck, and Baccarat lighting and furniture. The opening party May 19 is sure to be packed with Dallas’ hottest style setters. But no one, I mean no one, will outshine the couture-clad Chun in her glamorous, sexy new atelier.
