Sometimes It’s All Black and White at Nest

Black and white vignette at Nest

Nest is so not black and white—far from it. The “color stories” created by buyer Donald Fowler are always a delightful inspiration to me. But I love all the graphic elements he’s put together in this black and white vignette. The zigzag lamp, the crosshatch pattern on the table, and even the contrast welt on the sofa create drama without the use of color. The pillows are spectacular. I wonder what a psychiatrist would make of the Rorschach test in front.
