Underserved and elderly populations are the most vulnerable and in need of quality healthcare access, yet receive the fewest resources. At the same time, many of these populations are the most costly to the healthcare system and have health problems that could be better addressed upstream. Lack of access means that issues fester, outcomes worsen, and conditions become more costly. Even for the well-informed, navigating the healthcare system can be difficult.
On July 20, MolinaCares Accord is hosting a free virtual panel discussion about innovative programs and initiatives to improve healthcare delivery to at-risk Texans. We will discuss services that support and identify vulnerable populations and difficult to reach patients while reducing emergency room usage and hospital recidivism, improve outcomes, increasing home health services, addressing social determinants of health, and unique delivery models.

She has served in leadership withthe Texas Health and Human Services Commission with expertise in healthcare policy, operations, and finance. She has also served as a leader with theTexas Health and Human Services Commission Office of the Inspector General, the Texas Department of State Health Services, and the Texas Association of Community Health Centers.
