COVID-19 Bulletin (1/10/22)

Dallas County added more than 6,000 cases on Friday. Nearly a quarter of hospital beds in North Texas are COVID patients.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 6,589 new COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths on Friday.


North Texas has 3,058 patients with COVID-19, representing 23.9 percent of available bed capacity. COVID patients represent 39.1 percent of intensive care unit patients, according to DFW Hospital Council Steve Love.


Dallas County has established large COVID-19 testing sites throughout the county. The Dallas Morning News has more on all the locations.
