The FDA has expanded booster shot eligibility to 12-15 year olds, CNN reports. Immunocompromised children aged 5-11 are also recommended for a third dose.


Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19, the Dallas Morning News reports. His campaign says he has mild symptoms.


DFW Hospital Council President and CEO Steve Love reported 2,256 hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in North Texas, a 230-patient increase from Sunday, representing 16.74 percent of available bed capacity in the region.
