Jeffrey Austin White is now Holmes Murphy’s Chief Analytics Officer. He brings nearly three decades of experience in strategic investments in talent and technology to the insurance brokerage. White will focus on innovation, data intelligence, and strategy for Holmes Murphy and its clients. He was previously an aerospace engineer and served in roles with the FDA, National Science Foundation, the Environmental Protection Agency, and others.
Healthcare technology company Verily will be opening a new office in Dallas at the Cypress Waters development. The office will focus on maturing the business, scaling the company’s IT infrastructure and commercial organization. Verily is owned by Alphabet, Google’s parent company. The permanent location will open in June 2022.

Dallas-based Rheumatology Associates’ Dr. Stanley Cohen has been awarded the American College of Rheumatology’s Presidential Gold Medal. The award is the college’s highest honor and is given in recognition of achievements in rheumatology over an entire career. Cohen joined Rheumatology Associates in 1975, and is a clinical professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, co-director of the Division of Rheumatology at Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas. He is also a past president of the American College of Rheumatology.
Medical City Fort Worth has been named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Spine Surgery for the third year in a row, according to Healthgrades. The analysis included 45 million Medicare inpatient records for nearly 4,500 acute care hospitals across the nation. The hospital is a 348-bed facility with a medical team of more than 1,000 physicians.
