Catalyst acquires MediBookr, LInkedIn ranks Texas Health Resources, UnitedHealthcare awards CitySquare, and more.

Primary care provider organization Catalyst Health Network has acquired MediBookr, a digital health solutions company. The acquisition pairs the Catalysts team-based care with MediBookr’s technology, which allows patients, providers, and payers to engage with their health and access to more timely information.


Texas Health Resources is No. 20 on the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies list in Dallas-Fort Worth, which recognizes companies as the top workplaces to grow careers. The rankings are calculated based on LinkedIn data for companies that attract and retain talent.


United Healthcare has awarded $75,000 to CitySquare, which will go toward expanding the nonprofit’s food pantry for food insecure individuals in Dallas. The gift is part of the UnitedHealthcare’s Empower Health initiative, which has delivered $500,000 in grants to five organizations across the state.

Eight woman-owned, startup businesses will be part of TechFW’s programs as the first of Texas Woman’s University – Center for Women Entrepreneurs Education Award recipients.  The winners will be able to participate in a startup accelerator or incubator. Several of the winners were in healthcare, including Dr. Meena McCullough’s company Body Spring, Dr. Jennifer Galanis’ company Art to the Power of Gamma, Wendi Alexander’s LoneStar Corre Care, Birdget Pervalle’s Specialized Toothbrush, and Ibby Roscoe’s Allbodies Collective.


Specialty management services company U.S. Oral Surgery Management has added a new partner in the Center for Oral & Facial Surgery, an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in San Diego County, California. This is USOSM’s first practice in California. The Irving company now partners with practices in 15 states.
