Dallas County reports 1,302 new cases. Pfizer vaccine receives full approval.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reports 1,302 new COVID-19 cases and eight deaths on Monday. 


There are 3,136 COVID-19 patients in North Texas hospitals, an increase of 87 from yesterday. This represents 21.8 percent of available bed capacity and 49 percent of adult ICU patients, DFW Hospital Council CEO Steve Love reports.


The Food and Drug Administration has given the Pfizer vaccine full approval, NBC5 reports. The approval might spur more employer vaccine mandates.
