Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 850 COVID-19 cases and seven deaths on Wednesday.


A few small, rural school districts have already shut down due to a rash of COVID-19 cases, but most North Texas districts don’t have set benchmarks for what would trigger a COVID-19 related shutdown. Most local districts say they will make the call on a case-by-case basis. Learn more with the Dallas Morning News.


Fort Worth ISD has joined a lawsuit against Governor Abbott challenging his ability to ban mask mandates after a school board vote last night.
