Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 160 new COVID-19 cases and 8 deaths on Wednesday.


Tarrant County is on its 55th consecutive day with fewer than 200 COVID-19 hospitalizations, WFAA reports. COVID-19 patients currently make up just 3 percent of all hospital patients.

A law working its way through the Texas Legislature would force school districts to set aside some of its federal aid, but school leaders worry that might harm their ability to help the students and families who need help now, the Dallas Morning News reports.
