Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 211 new positive COVID cases and 14 deaths on Monday. The numbers do not account for Easter Sunday and the following Monday. 


A record four million vaccinations were administered in the past 24 hours in the U.S., according to the Biden administration. The U.S. is now averaging more than 3 million vaccines administered per day, WFAA reported. 


The Texas Supreme Court order to forestall tenant evictions has expired despite a federal moratorium from the CDCaccording to the Texas Tribune. With the state’s highest civil court not explicitly enforcing the moratorium, Texas landlords could resume pursuing evictions. 


The Texas Rangers have opened their new stadium, Globe Life Field, to 100% capacity despite warnings from health experts and the president. They are attempting to be the first American pro sports team to allow a full house. Read more from the Dallas Morning News here.
