Despite the Governor Abbott’s declaration that the state mask mandate would end on March 10, Dallas County Medical Director Dr Philip Huang and Jenkins both saID it is too early to put the masks away, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Texas children are facing higher rates of hunger and other hardships than children in every other state but two, according to report that details how the state has handled the pandemic. KERA has more.
