Axxess founder and CEO John Olajide has been elected to the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) Board of Directors. The home health technology solutions company leader will serve a three-year term beginning in 2021.


Population health engagement company MediBookr has closed a bridge round of funding, bringing the company’s total funding to $3.3. million. The company focuses on innovating the patient experience through technology.


The McKesson Corp. board of directors has elected Linda Mantia as an independent director and member of the board’s Audit and Governance Committees. Mantia was most recently vice president and chief operating officer of Manulife Financial Corporation, an international insurance and financial services company.


Physician-focused billing and practice management solution company abeo has appointed of Joe Ferro to Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. Ferro has been an entrepreneur and senior healthcare executive for 25 years, and founded TRUSTEDi10 in 2016, which addressed healthcare data that was underutilized by the health entities.


Texas Health Resources was named among companies that have been committed to conservation by Texan by Nature, an organization founded by former First Lady Laura Bush. The only healthcare entity on the list, Texas Healh was recognized for its innovative work in conservation.
