Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 380 new COVID-19 cases on Monday with no deaths. Jenkins said that the County has experienced an increase in hospitalizations and positive testing.
Texas formed a new plan for vaccine distribution on Monday. The first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine will include care workers, first responders, and Texans with chronic health conditions. Over 1,000 Texas health care professionals have already volunteered to distribute the vaccine, The Dallas Morning News reported.
Over 4,000 Texans are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, a nearly 600 patient increased compared to the previous week. There were over new 3,000 cases reported on Sunday, The Texas Tribune reported.
Details of a Garland woman’s death on a domestic flight were released on Sunday by Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins. The woman in her 30s had COVID-19 and died while flying from Arizona to Texas in July, NBC News reported.
