Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 246 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday with one death. The death was of a man in his 50s with no underlying health conditions.


Nearly 400 residents in Tarrant County are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, leaving 1,500 hospital beds available, WFAA reported.


UT Austin professors discussed the threat of Post-COVID syndrome, revealing that one-third of COVID-19 victims can continue to experience lingering symptoms months after infection, The Texas Standard reported.


Texas hospitalization rates remain constant since previous peaks in July. Nearly 3,400 Texans are currently hospitalized as of Tuesday, The Texas Tribune reported.
