Texas Health Resources is the only North Texas healthcare organization on the 2020 Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials, an accomplishment achieved for the third consecutive year.

The list was made after researchers analyzed survey feedback from 4.9 million millennial employees across the country.  They responded to 60 survey questions about their employer, and results are compared to other organizations of their size, make-up, and industry peers. At Texas Health Resources, 90 percent of the 21,622 employees say it is a great place to work, and the organization was recognized for providing work-life balance.

“Our ability to deliver high-quality, reliable care depends on all of our people feeling supported, cared for and being at their best,” said Carla Dawson, chief people officer at Texas Health via release. “It’s never been more important for us to support and take care of one another and we remain committed to the health and well-being of all employees.”

Millennials make up 38 percent of the workforce at Texas Health, and work in every part of the organization.

“We recognize that these are the future leaders of our organization and it’s a privilege to be a part of helping them to achieve their personal goals and potential,” said Barclay Berdan, chief executive officer for Texas Health via release. “We also have a unique multi-generational workforce who listens to and learns from one another to truly make this a great place to work for all.”
