Dallas County reports its 901st death as COVID-19 related hospitalizations fall to 4,172 patients.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 460 new coronavirus cases on Monday with 168 from previous months. There was one new death reported of a man in his 50s who had underlying high-risk health conditions.


The United States exceeds 6 million COVID-19 cases as schools and businesses attempt to successfully reopen across the nation, The Hill reported.


Dallas County health officials reported the 901st COVID-19-related death on Sunday. The death was of a woman in her 70s who had been critically ill with underlying high-risk health conditions, NBC DFW reported.


COVID-19 related hospitalizations continue to fall, with patients occupying 7.6% of hospital beds. 4,172 Texas are currently hospitalized—1,014 less than a week ago, The Texas Tribune reported.
