We are able to deliver on this commitment because of the expertise and dedication of our entire health care team of physicians, nurses, and legions of others working throughout UT Southwestern in many capacities,” noted Daniel K. Podolsky, M.D., President of UT Southwestern Medical Center via release.

With 16 medical centers rated in the regional ranking, Baylor Scott & White was the most awarded not-for-profit health system in Texas. Baylor University Medical Center was ranked second in DFW and Baylor Scott and White All Saints Medical Center–Fort Worth was ranked eighth.

“This recognition is an extraordinary achievement, reflective of our team’s unwavering commitment, faithful service, compassion, and relentless focus on safely caring for those who need us now more than ever,” said Jim Hinton, chief executive officer, Baylor Scott & White via release.

In the national rankings, Baylor University Medical Center was ranked No. 24 in Gynecology and No. 36 nationally in Gastroenterology & GI Surgery and Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Plano was No. 27 nationally for Cardiology & Heart Surgery.
