The two tech companies are collaborating to improve patient engagement in the home health and hospice worlds.

Dallas-based home health software company Homecare Homebase is partnering with CipherHealth, a healthcare engagement software company to expand patient outreach in the home health and hospice industry.

HCHB works to help home-based care agencies improve processes and maximize resources, and this collaboration is meant to help providers to manage patient engagement and communication. Increased engagement and improved management leads to reduced hospital readmissions. Patient status checks via text, call, and email help providers better understand the patient’s needs and act quickly as they arise.

“Home health agencies are recognizing the need for integrated technology that automates the myriad communications, scheduling and monitoring tasks so that clinicians have more quality time with their patients to drive better outcomes” said CipherHealth Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, John Banks Powell via release. “CipherHealth is excited to partner with Homecare Homebase to power these digital touchpoints and interactions for a more seamless patient and clinician experience.”
